Craig with his HAHA laugh was an amazing gentleman (ex-PhD professor) to talk to (idk who said he is bad below, ignore it please). Someone who saw the shop was about to be close and took over cause he loves the chef isn't a bad person in my book. However, we are here for the foods, I am also amaze by the cruisine as well. The samosa was the one that took me over the edge cause the blend of the spices mix with potato and crunchy on the outside blow my mind, so I would like to applaud the ex-military army chef for mastering it. Moreover, their milk is definitely not store bought cause my hot choco was light but not too flavorful like I am use to which go really well with the dish. At first I was wondering why the hot chocolate wasn't as flavorful as I am use to but now we know why (spice hot chocolate ). There is another dish that surprise me, but I won't tell you lol. You have to try it to find out. They also sell a lot of desserts that doesn't use any preservative ingredients to skim on the dessert says a lot. So come and try and be amaze with me cause I sure was when my usual sushi place was close today.

This is a wonderful little shop full of amazing sweets and treats! There were so many fantastic looking options that we were a little overwhelmed, but Davina, the woman running the store, offered us full explanations of what every item was and explained what allergens were included in each, which was greatly appreciated as my girlfriend has celiac disease, and thankfully there were an enormous number of gluten free choices. We shared a pair of assorted treats and some great iced coffees, and enjoyed everything she had selected for us. While I don't live in the area, I'd highly recommend anyone who does to stop by and try as many sweets as they can! The service was friendly and beyond courteous and everything tasted great! They're a little hidden in the plaza where they're located, but it's definitely worth seeking out.

This was our first time coming in but it was truly a total experience. The shop was attended by a very interesting co-owner who gave us a detailed explanation of all the choices. There are a wide range of traditional desserts on a spectrum of sweetness and cooking time to bring out the desired characteristics. The owner was fascinating too. An ex-business professor who spent 5 years teaching at American University in Cairo. He also spent time teaching in Africa and India before returning here to purchase this shop with his Indian wife. Come support local business and be blown away by the delicious food crafted with love.

I was searching for good Bengali sweets for a long time, finally I found it here in Raleigh. We ordered a Thali & a box of Bengali assorted sondesh for to-go. Both were amazing, we loved it.

We were looking for a place to have Fresh Indian Snacks and then landed up at this place. I really really loved the place. The owners were very friendly, it felt as if we are at our friend's place. The food was fresh and yummy. We tried - - Veg Chop : It was fantastic and a must try - Mango Lassi : I will rate it 4.5/5 - Masala Chai : It was decent - Bhelpuri : It was good too and can be customized as per your needs(sweet or spicy) - Sandesh : They prepare the sweets themselves and after eating the first bite only you will realise that this is the best Sandesh you can get in North Carolina. I will 100% recommend you to try it and other sweets

I am a Bengali and no matter how far we are from Calcutta, we always long for those wonderful sweets back home... The closest to Calcutta style sweets that you can get in these parts, most of the sweets are pretty decent... But the real winners are the snacks... The Singara, Kochuri and the Vegetable chop are to die for and can give some of the top shops in Bengal a run for their money! Filling and insanely delicious! We keep going back for these!

Cute little eatery with vegan options. We had already had lunch si we opted for some Kaju Katari which is similar to fudge. It's made with cashews and sugar. No oil so it was a win for us. Very tasty. Will be back.
